Does anyone have a tried and tested lemon buttercream recipe please?

Use Sugar and crumbs natural flavoured icing sugar instead of regular icing sugar. It makes a very lemony buttercream.

Or. …. make your normal buttercream and add a couple of tablespoons full of lemon curd. This also makes a tasty tart filling.

…… you could also make your normal buttercream. Cream the zest of two unwaxed lemons with butter and icing sugar until combined, then add the juice of a whole lemon and beat until fluffy.

Squires Kitchen also make natural fruit icing sugar. Google it by name to see it on their site.
