I recently used the textured mats but always had a outline of the mat when pressed down. How can I avoid this?

I’ve got the FMM mats, brick, cobblestone etc, and with the cobblestone one,I just cut off the hard edge,

I don’t roll out to the very edge of the mat, just within the confines of the pattern. Hope this helps.
