In the tutorials for both cakes mrs jones says to increase the flour by 10/20% for a stronger cake to carve and put sugerpaste on my maths is not that good and I want to be sure so just how much more in grams of flour do I need to use to make the cakes structure stronger for sugerpaste sorry to be a dunce but need to be sure thank you

To find 10% divide the amount of the flour by 10. For 20% divide by 20.

carrot cake: for 10% increase flour by 48.5g for 20% increase by 97g

Banana cake: for 10% increase flour by 45g for 20% increase by 90g
