Hi

Where can I find recipe for Mrs Jones toffee cake please? x

Hi guys, just so you know, the ingredients list has been amended and can be found under the video in the ingredients tab. x

The recipe has been placed in the tools tab under the video but it is incomplete. Mrs Jones has been made aware of this so the recipe information should be rectified soon. x

Why does Mrs Jones say the cake is not suitable for stacking? Is this a different cake than Paul uses?

Mrs Jones’ toffee cake doesn’t have enough structure to make it suitable for stacking. In the video she advises to add another 20% more of just the flour if you want to stack the cake. However, evenso, make a test cake first to make sure that the cake is sturdy enough before offering it as a tier.
Paul does not have a toffee cake recipe, his recipe is the moist chocolate cake which can be found in the free/beginners section. He has used a toffee cake in one of the tutorials which was made available to him but it is not a tutorial.

Thanks for the reply, yes this helps I thought Paul used this one and that was why the video was put on. Cake looks good though I may need to try. :))

Is it possible to get Mrs Jones toffee cake recipe for all the cake sizes please or if its possible to know the recipe for a 6″ toffee cake and see if i could be able to use it to calculate for all the cake sizes.

Both the ready reckoner and the cakeometer are easy tools to use. The cakeometer link is just further down the page, to use it click on the red link.
Mrs Jones recommends to increase the flour ingredient by an additional 25% if you want the cake to be more dense.
