Hi just made the cake for the first time the chocolate mix was very thick
Is this normal followed the recipe to the letter

My mix is similar to what you have described, the cake always comes out fine. I don’t mix my ingredients in the stand mixer, just do it quicky by hand and dump it in the tin then straight into the oven. I don’t know whether other members have a more runny mixture. Your feed back would be appreciated.
