Paul’s chocolate cake
Hi I made Paul’s chocolate cake and was so pleased with the results. I was wondering if you could make a similar cake with oil for a vanilla sponge cake. If so could you tell me what the ingredients would be for a 10 inch square please as I am making the teddy cake next week and they have requested a vanilla sponge and I need the cake to carve easily

You could also try Wright’s Maderia cake mix ( brilliant). The mixes can be found in most major supermarkets and in Lidle and Aldi stores. A lot of members of site have tried the mixes and have given very favourable feedback. I too have used their maderia mix, it’s excellent. Here is their web address http://www.wrightsflour.co.uk/
