Paul’s Dark chocolate cake

Hello,
Please can I use just all regular flour for the dark chocolate cake? I moved to a country that doesn’t have self rising flour. If I can, would just a teaspoon of baking soda work or do I have to split half baking soda and half baking powder?
Tari.

Hi Tari

For the recipe to work properly you will need the extra leavening which self raising flour contains. All is not lost as you can easily make your own selfraising flour by adding leavening to your regular flour. Please take a peek at the following google search link and choose a substitute which suits you:

If you need any more information post back. 🙂
