Paul’s Moist Chocolate Cake

Would the ingredients in the video (10″ &6″ cakes) work for two 8 inch round cakes?
Also would they still bake for 2 hours?

Yes the ingredients will work for 2 x 8″ for the same time, just keep an eye and nose on it.

Now Andy, there is a problem.
I followed the recipe to the letter. Using an oven thermometer, I checked throughout that the oven was exactly 150 degrees. Top quality ingredients.
2 hours later I have two sunken cakes! They also feel more like American Brownies!
What can have gone wrong? I’m mortified.

Many people have left positive feed back and ways to make slight tweeks particularly in the later posts. If you bake it again pre heat the oven for a good 20 minutes to ensure it remains hot when you open the door.
