Paul’s moist chocolate cake question
Ok…only in America do we still use Cups, ounces, ect! How can I find Paul’s recipe converted to U>S> measurements? Thank you so much!

Can you use yoghurt instead of buttermilk we can’t always get it here tks great show

I can’t see why not. I recently baked a very similar recipe to Paul’s which required buttermilk, I didn’t have any so used yoghurt instead and the cake was fine. You can make your own buttermilk at home from regular milk.
1 cup milk
1 tbs lemon juice
Let it sit for 15 minutes, stir to disperse lumps and use in your recipe.
Or just google how to make buttermilk, there are lots of different recipes.

I have made a cake and cupcakes similar to Paul’s chocolate cake using soured cream and it was nice too,have’nt tried it with buttercream yet…..made with the soured cream it is quite rich I must say.
