price a fruit cake
I have been asked to make a 10 and 8 inch fruit cake, covered in marzipan and royal icing with white chocolate roses and butterflys. I wondered whether anyone is able to give me an idea of what I would charge for this cake as I have no idea. Thank you in advance.

If you google in Cake Baker, that site has an online app called the Cake U lator, I am sure you’ll find it will help you calculate your costs and what you should charge. Decorated fruit cakes are expensive, and there is a huge difference in prices. It may also help you to look online to see what other people charge.The cheapest fruit cake I’ve seen is £110.00, it just had some flat cut out flowers and a piped border.
