Can someone pls tell me the biggest square tin I can use to make the barbie cake Paul made. Many thanks in advance Nikie

You can use what ever size tin you want as long as it fits in your oven with room to allow air circulation all around the tin length and height on the middle shelf. I don’t know how big your oven is so can’t advise, however, the tin must not touch the sides or back of the oven when you close the door.

Thank you so much, I was thinking of using a 14 inch square to get more cake.

If you’ve got 14″ tin Nikke, have a look to see if it fits properly all round, if not you could bake a 12″ square, that’s pretty big! and perhaps have another smaller cake if you just want more to serve. x
