Recipe for 12×18 inch sponge cake
Hello! I was wondering if anyone has a recipe for a 12×18 inch sponge cake? The person I’m making it for wants it approx. 4 inches deep. I’ve been searching everywhere for a recipe, but I’m not having much luck. I’ve been given a recipe for a 12 inch round sponge cake, but I wouldn’t know where to start with working it out for the 12×18″ cake that I need to make. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you 🙂

If you put in the search box ‘victoria sponge cake’ there is a answer there which may help you.

I just wanted to make sure that you’re clear this makes one 12 x 18 cake. To achieve height you would need to bake two and sandwich together.
