This appears to be a stencil. Since you posted your question I’ve been searching for the design without success. I’ve searched in google ‘gothic gold on black cake stencil’ and ‘gold on black art deco cake stencil’.
Perhaps if you search also you may find something similar to consider. How about emailing the creator of the cake for advice here: http://www.jenlacake.com/

jenlacakes.com are revamping their site so it’s possible they are busy. I would think they will get back to you eventually. In the meanwhile, I’ve found something slightly similar which would look really great in black and gold: http://evilcakegenius.com/index.php/stencils/stencils-for-cakes/geometric-patterns/trellis-stencil.html
Of course the jenla stencil may be a bespoke one. The company in the link I’ve given will cut bespoke stencils and they may be able to produce something like it for you. Worth contacting them??
