Replace alcahol in a fruit cake?

Can someone tell me what I can use as a replacement for alcohol in a fruit cake and would it be the same amount I would use?

The same amount of strong tea can be substituted for alcohol. Soak fruit for two or three days before baking, stirring each day. Fruit can be soaked in alcohol for months as it acts a preservative. If you’d like to bake your fruit cake ahead of time, it can be frozen.
