I wonder if there´s a way to hide or cover the holes that we get on the cake after using cocktail sticks or spaguetti to create the ruffle rose effect on the last tutorial.

Paul has used dummy cakes so the holes look bigger than they probably will in a real cake. Making the paste slightly more frilly might help conceal too.
