Scaling up Mrs Jones sponge cake

i want to make Mrs Jones sponge cake in a 10 inch square tin. When I worked it out using the Cake o meter it said use 715g each of flour,marg and sugar and 13 eggs. This seems to me too much , don’t know if I’m right?

The above ingredients will make one 10″ square cake 4″ deep. If you want the cake 3″ deep you’ll need to reduce the ingredients by 25%
