Hi, have just seen a flower sugar board and wondered how long in advance you could make petals, leaves etc with flower paste and keep them soft enough to work with? Thanks

Hi annescakes1

I think it depends how thin you roll out your paste. Very thin paste will dry within a couple of hours. A little thicker will probably stay soft for a few more hours so they can be tweeked gently. You could always cover them up with a clear plastic or cling film, that would stop them drying out for ages. x
