I am making a Stretch Limo car for a “Hen Weekend” Cake.  Need assistance on what to prop cake up on to raise it off the ground for wheels to be attached?    Any advise?

Have a look at the VW car tutorial. Paul carves out the wheel cavities and installs the wheels into them.

The cake is the prop, once the wheels and trim are added, plus the front and rear bumper, it gives the

illusion of the car being raised. If you want to prop the car up from underneath you could make blocks

of gumpaste and sit the car on those, but you will be able to see them from a distance. Paul’s method is far

better.
