Just managed to track Paul down. This is glue string from the glue gun used to attach the boards together which is part of the base so is non-edible. But, I can see how it could look like a long ladies hair, but promise its not 🙂

Thanks for your comments and will pop a note on the tutorial just to clear things up.

I saw that too in lesson 16 not sure what it is though

Thank you David for clearing that up.I was thinking about the tutorial and going through each stage in my head when It suddenly dawned on me last night that it could be a string of glue from the boards.

Yeah, I realized that is the glue that got sprayed with the black coloring when the pegs got sprayed. Thank you so much for clearing that up!
