TOPSY TURVY BAKING TINS

Hi, does anyone know if I should be using tins of a particular depth for the cakes? They look as if deeper than average tin. Thanks

Hi fraser151, not sure if this helps but I bought the tipsy turvy tins from Lakeland and have used them a few times, I use Maisie Fantasie recipes for all my cakes as the are all a really good depth when cooked, you can get the recipes online or from one of her books. Good luck, JulieT

The tins which Paul uses can be viewed here http://www.cakeflix.com/online-cake-decorating-courses/free/moist-chocolate-recipe. I use the same tins, they produce 3″ cakes although the tin itself measures 4″. The tins can be bought in Lakeland or any cake decorating suppliers. You may also find this blog http://www.cakeflix.com/online-cake-decorating-courses/free/suppliers useful. x
