Toy box

Hi would it be to much trouble to weigh each part of the teddy bear ?
It would help me enormously as I’m not very good at getting the size right .

Hi kath12

It would be difficult to guess accurately the weight of each piece of the teddy. However what you could do is email or telephone Laura Dodimead who is the creator of the toy boy and ask her. At least you would have the exact amounts rather than guess work. Here is Laura’s facebook and contact details. I’m sure she will be delighted to help you with the weights. It’s possible other members may be able to help.

wilton has an entire array of 3D characters on their website at http://www.wilton.com/3D/ideas/
and they have a tray that goes along with the piece by piece instructions that you press in each part as you go along, that are so easy to follow. These are perfect for cake toppers and I find that if I want to make them slightly bigger, I enlarge the pattern by 1/2 times as I go along and it comes out so nice. The tray is called a measure and shape tray, and they have an 8 pc modeling tool set also, but I have had so many tools over the years, that I use what I have. They don’t stop at animals, they have bride and groom, graduates, golfers, etc. also
