Hi, I have been asked to make a cupcake tower for a wedding with a 7inch top cake. How big a stand would I need? Thanks

Hi, I am doing the same in a couple of weeks. It depends how many cupcakes they want. I am doing 120 cupcakes and using a 7 tier stand. The top tier is 6 inches but I will be putting a 7 inch on it as the overhang is tiny and the brides want a 7 inch cake!

Sorry for the late reply. I did these cakes the other day and had 120 on a 7 tier stand with the top cake being 7 inches. I think that 80 would be fine on a 7 tier stand as my 120 cakes didn’t all fit on and some were displayed on the table around the stand. I had 90 normal sized cupcakes and 30 smaller ones. Hope that helps.
