What’s the best sugarpaste
Whats the best sugarpaste on the market? I’m making a three tierd stacked wedding cake 12″ 10″ 8″ each tier will be 10″ to give it a contemporary look but need to make sure the sugarpaste wont crack when I’m rolling it smoothing it, as the cake is very plain any imperfections will show.

Hi djb472
Everyone has their own preferences. I use Satin Ice, it rolls out very thin, tastes really lovely and presents very few problems for me. I also use Renshaws Regal ice. Some members have mentioned Cova paste to be the best. That doesn’t necessarily mean that it is. Most people just keep trying different brands until they find one they really like. If you look in the free/beginners section you’ll see Paul discussing the various brands. Other members will share their favourite pastes, however the best way is to try the different ones. Some online shops sell sample packs which may be worth trying out.
