where is the best stockist to buy good quality cake tins?

I need to buy 10,7 and 4 inch pans for the fairy castle. I have an 8 inch deep pan i got from amazon for about £8 with a loose base which seems to do a fine job but they don’t have the same make in the sizes i need.

Hi wardiep,

I get most of my cake tins on Ebay, I use the pme ones that do not have a loose bottom. I find when lined with greaseproof paper they never stick they always come out perfect. I hope this helps you.

Lakeland have a good variety of cake pans at reasonable prices, they have an online shop and are very quick on delivery.

Thanks all of you, have had a wee look on each and think i am gonna go for the ebay ones. I’m impressed they are “PME” cos I’ve heard of them in the cake making world, lol.

Actually I bought the same tins from sugar shack and they were a little cheaper cos only one postage and it was free cos i spent over £15.00!!
