Paul starts things off by bringing together the cake drums to make a backdrop for our baby rockstar! Paul then ices the boards off camera in preparation for the next lesson.

Paul shows you how to transform your iced board into beautiful textured tiles!

In this lesson Paul will show you how to carve and ganache your cake and since this cake is for the neighbors Paul adds a little Baileys for some extra flavour!

Now that our little rock-star’s body is done move on to shaping up the head.

To bring out the facial features Paul first adds sugarpaste to the carved head, he then covers the whole head in more sugarpaste and begins to sculpt into shape.

In this lesson Paul adds the nappy to the babies body then brings over the head to add the mouth.

Time to give our baby a real rock star look as we add the shades.

Paul rolls out then textures some sugarpaste which is then used for the baby’s hair, then to complete the head gives the baby a cute little tooth!

Paul uses the airbrush to make the backdrop with mountains and a beautiful sunset.

To finish the backdrop Paul free-hands some palm trees and little birdies.

Paul covers the tiles with blue paint using the airbrush.

Back to our baby now as Paul makes the legs and feet then shows his technique for making the cute little toes. Then the head is added to the body.

Paul makes the guitar using a printed of template which you can find under the templates section of this tutorial.

Paul smooths the sugarpaste around the edges of the guitar.

Time to bring this baby together as Paul adds the guitar and arms.
